VIA Metropolitan Transit service on the Fredericksburg Road corridor will return to regular routes beginning Monday, Jan. 30. Bus service in parts of this corridor has been on detour since September 2021, while the area underwent a City of San Antonio construction project that included lane configurations, drainage upgrades and the addition of pedestrian/bike lanes from West Woodlawn Avenue to North Flores Street.

VIA Routes 2 Blanco Frequent, 95 Fredericksburg Road Frequent, 96 Vance Jackson Frequent, and 97 West Ave. will return to regular routes. Additionally, late night Routes 202 Blanco Lineup and 296 Vance Jackson/West Ave Lineup also will return to the corridor.
