VIA Cares
VIA Cares organizes resources and hosts community events to help make ends meet for our neighbors in need. We utilize our business and service partnerships to match VIA volunteers with opportunities to serve.
Bibliotech
BiblioTech Digital Library is the first all-digital public library in the United States. Its mission is to enhance education and literacy, promote reading as recreation, and equip residents with necessary tools to thrive in our modern landscape. VIA is proud to offer riders free access to thousands of eBook and Audiobook titles with the BiblioTech app, powered by our free WiFi available on all buses and at all transit centers.
Ride VIA to Vote
This program allows VIA to provide complimentary public transportation on municipal, state, and federal election days for passengers who present a valid voter registration card to the bus or van operator on election days.
United Way
VIA’s annual campaign kicks off each December with an agency-wide celebration and plenty of chances to give and win big. The campaigns support our neighbors in need throughout San Antonio and Bexar County. Because when we give, we win.
Women’s History Month
VIA celebrates and encourages the advancement of women in the transportation industry and is committed to supporting a diverse environment.
Black History Month
VIA fosters a workplace of inclusivity, recognizes the achievements of Black Americans, and reflects on their central role in our shared history.
Hispanic Heritage Month
Hispanic culture is a big part of the tapestry that makes up San Antonio, and VIA celebrates the contributions, diversity, and extensive histories of the American Latino community.
National Arts Program
Each year, the VIA Employee Art Exhibit showcases more than 100 artistic entries made by VIA employees, retirees, and their family members, made possible by VIA’s collaboration with The National Arts Program®.
VIA Moves Me – Riders Stories
This video series features riders who acquire and share their stories about exploring San Antonio on a weekly basis with VIA.
