Ways to Move
Explore All Ways to Move with VIA
Recognized by the Texas Transit Association as the outstanding Metro Transit Authority of the year, VIA covers 1,226 miles—including 14 member cities and the unincorporated areas of Bexar County—seven days a week across its 90+ routes. Here are all the ways we work for you.
Bus Services
VIA connects our communities, supports our economy, and enhances our quality of life. And it all starts with our core Bus Services. Use the one that works best for you.
VIA Link
Similar to Uber or Lyft, VIA Link is an on-demand ride-sharing program that moves you affordably and conveniently through neighborhoods and cities where bus routes are not possible. Just tap the app, call or click to book your next ride!
VIA Link service areas include Naco Pass, Mainland, Madia, and Randolph. A VIA Link passenger van will come to your location within the requested zone and take you directly to your destination or connect you to bus stops across the VIA service area.
VIAtrans
This shared-ride, curb-to-curb service is for customers who cannot utilize regular bus service because of a disability. VIAtrans trips are available for any purpose and can be scheduled at least one day in advance, using VIA’s online or call-in scheduling system.
Park & Airport
Did you know VIA can even help you FLY? Start your stress-free travel with free parking at our Stone Oak Park & Ride, then finish with a quick VIA Express shuttle to the airport for just a few bucks. Riding (and flying) has never been easier!

HOV Lanes
HOV lanes are specifically designated lanes on the inside left of a highway for vehicles carrying 2+ (two or more) passengers. HOV benefits include decreased commute times, reduced traffic, less congestion, better air quality, and the encouragement of mass transit and ridesharing.
